Oopsie Heroes Review: A Mum’s Experience with Night Training

👩‍👦 Honest Parent Review from Monica at "What Does Mamma Say?"

I was lucky enough to discover Oopsie Heroes by accident. I received the device in exchange for an honest review, and I’m excited to share our experience!

The name doesn’t give much away, but this little device helps children stay dry at night by detecting moisture and triggering an alarm. Sounds simple, right? Here’s how it worked for us.

💡 First Impressions of Oopsie Heroes

✔️ Compact & child-friendly packaging – My son was excited to try it!
✔️ Lightweight sensor – Easy to attach, and my toddler didn’t even notice it.
✔️ Plenty of adhesive stickers – Enough for months of use.
✔️ Easy setup – The app connected instantly to my phone.

I also prepared my son ahead of time by explaining how we’d use the sensor. He accepted it right away, and I made sure to act excited so he would feel the same way.

🛏️ How Oopsie Heroes Works

Step 1: Attach the small wireless sensor to your child’s underwear.
Step 2: The sensor detects moisture and triggers a beeping alarm.
Step 3: The alarm wakes up the child (or the parent) so they can go to the toilet.
Step 4: Over time, the child learns to wake up before wetting the bed.

🌟 Bonus Feature: The app allows you to record your own voice as the alarm. This means your child can wake up to the sound of your voice instead of a beep!

🔍 What We Noticed Using Oopsie Heroes

✔️ My son wore the sensor comfortably all night.
✔️ The beeping alarm worked well, though he still needed help getting to the toilet.
✔️ The app recorded bedwetting events – great for tracking patterns.
✔️ After a few nights, we noticed his bladder activity had a pattern.

💡 One thing to note: The sensor takes a significant amount of moisture to trigger the alarm. If your child only wees a little, it might not go off immediately.

📱 Areas for Improvement

🔋 Battery Drain on Phone – The first night, my phone died, meaning no alarm. After that, I kept my phone plugged in overnight.

🔗 Sensor Sensitivity – The alarm only triggered with a large amount of moisture. If your child wees just a little, the alarm might not go off in time.

✨ Overall Impression

✔️ Child-friendly & easy to use – My son accepted it with no fuss.
✔️ Non-invasive & safe – No Bluetooth or harmful technology.
✔️ Helps build bladder awareness over time.
✔️ Great for older kids – Younger children may still need parental help.

While my son is still in the potty-training phase, I plan to keep the sensor for future use if bedwetting becomes an issue later on. Overall, we’re happy with it!
